Help Young Marines Learn World War II History First-Hand
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in D-Day Remembrance at Normandy
Help Atlantic Coast Young Marines Fulfill Their Dream
The Young Marines are dreaming of a trip to France and Germany for
June 3 - 15, 2023, with the Unit Commander and Adult Volunteers. They will participate in the D-
Day Remembrance Ceremony on-site, as well as meet some of our remaining veterans from this
era. They plan to visit the Beaches of Normandy, museums, cemeteries, and memorials dedicated
to the lives sacrificed for the freedom of our country and world. From France, on to World War II
sites in Germany.
The trip will cost roughly $4,500 per Young Marine, and they hope to bring 20. The Young
Marines are working hard and raised $9,000 as of Oct 18
th
, as pictured above on their Donation
Goal Tracker, with car washes, tables around town at events and stores, silent auctions, drawings,
and even door-to-door donation drives in their neighborhoods.
WE CAN BE HEROES FOUNDATION is raising funds to sponsor this once-in-a-lifetime
educational trip. These remarkable and loving youth spend hundreds of hours helping veterans
and our communities while they focus on building the leadership, discipline, and teamwork of the
Young Marines. They've earned our support.
